A special shout out to the White Family for their generous donation of many Spanish versions of the popular "I Survived " historical fiction series. These are even signed by the author, Lauren Tarshis!! Their donation helps begin a new section of books our Spanish-speaking ELL students can enjoy from our library.

Water has overtaken many of the roads in the Northwest School District today. Currently, the Big River is set to crest at 28’ at 6:00 p.m. tonight. We would not have time for the water to recede and for us to have adequate time to check roads before morning buses. Therefore, we are going to have another (Alternative Method of Instruction) AMI day Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

Dear Northwest Families, We have been monitoring the flooding and watching the forecast of the Big River. Several roads in the district are impassable and the Big River will crest during school hours tomorrow. Out of an abundance of caution, we will have an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) day November 6, 2024.
